Message one is a volume flow rate and the other is a mass flow rate in disguise. I believe AliaZ is correct... for a constant volume flow, the pressure drop scales with inlet pressure and mass flow rate. Is that equation for compressible flow? Because unitless multipliers are a sign of an equation developed with an intended application in mind, their use in generalizations should be limited.
